Common Applications

This is the master range of our factory catalogue: 263 LED work lights, from compact 10 W pods to 580 W high-output units, sorted below into four output classes so a distributor or fleet workshop can find the right size for each mounting position in minutes. Whatever the machine — a tractor, an excavator, a skid steer, a forklift, a service truck — the right work light (or work lamp, as the UK and European trade call it) is in this category. Every model runs on 9–32 V DC, so one part number serves 12 V and 24 V vehicles, and every housing is sealed to IP67–IP69K.

The range serves agricultural machinery, construction and earthmoving equipment, mining, warehousing and commercial vehicles alike. Use the sections below to shortlist by output class, by shape and mounting, or by the machine you are fitting out.

How to choose from 263 work lights

Three filters cut this range down to a shortlist:

  • Beam pattern — Flood beams deliver wide, short-range illumination for cab, fender and reverse positions; spot beams project a focused, long-distance beam far forward of the machine; combination beams put both optics in one housing. Most positions on a working machine want flood.
  • Output class — Match the wattage to the position, not to the machine: a cab-pillar lamp and a rear scene light on the same excavator are two classes apart. The four classes below give the ranges.
  • Mounting — Every light ships with a stainless-steel bracket or stud mount that can be re-aimed after installation, so one part number adapts to different machines across a fleet.

Four output classes

  • Compact, 10–27 W (720–2,160 lm), 51 models — handrails, cab pillars, steps, compartments and bumpers; 2–3.5 inch housings that fit where nothing larger will.
  • Standard, 30–60 W (2,400–4,800 lm), 132 models — the largest class and the one most positions need: cab roofs, fenders, body sides, reverse lights on tractors, loaders and trucks.
  • High-output, 61–120 W (4,800–9,600 lm), 61 models — rear work areas, implements, hitch and scene positions on larger machines.
  • Heavy-duty, 120–580 W (up to 46,400 lm), 16 models — mining, quarry and marine machines that light a whole working area from one point; grouped in our heavy-duty work lights range.

By shape and mounting

Round housings (47 models) are the classic tractor and cab-roof format; oval (27) and square (23) housings suit fender and body-side positions where the light has to sit tight to the panel; rectangular lamps (8) fit compartment lids and step positions. All mount on a stud or a stainless-steel bracket and can be re-aimed after fitting. If a position needs a flush-mounted or bracket-specific housing, ask — custom brackets and cable lengths are part of the OEM service.

By machine and industry

Most of these lights also appear in the machine-specific ranges, which add direct-fit part numbers and positions: LED tractor lights (187 models), John Deere equipment lights, skid steer lights, Bobcat replacement lights, forklift safety lights, LED driving lights, truck and trailer lights and heated LED lights for snow and ice. The application pages for agricultural machinery, construction and earthmoving, mining equipment and work trucks and service bodies show where each class goes on the machine.

What to check on a spec sheet

  • Lumens — compare effective lumens (light that actually leaves the lens) rather than the raw LED figure; our product pages list the output per model so you can compare like with like.
  • Beam pattern — flood for the area around the machine, spot for distance, combination for both; the pattern matters more than the wattage for how a position looks at night.
  • IP rating — IP67 covers rain and immersion; IP69K covers high-pressure, high-temperature wash-down, which is what kills unsealed lamps on farm and construction machines. Our IP69K vs IP68 guide explains the difference.
  • Voltage — 9–32 V DC input runs on 12 V and 24 V systems and rides through alternator spikes and starter dips; potted drivers keep the electronics sealed against vibration.
  • EMC — suppression to CISPR 25 so the lights do not interfere with radios, GPS and telematics in the cab.
  • Connectors and cable — Deutsch-type and OEM-matching connectors, and cable lengths to suit the harness, are specified per order; tell us the machine and we will match it.

For the reasoning behind these criteria in a bulk-buying context, read our LED work light buyer’s guide.

One range for mixed fleets

Distributors and fleet workshops use this category to standardise: instead of sourcing separate lamps for tractors, loaders and trucks, they stock a handful of models across the four classes that cover every machine in the yard. Because every model accepts 9–32 V DC and shares the same bracket families, one stock line serves 12 V and 24 V machines alike, and a spare for one position fits the same position on the next machine.

Built to survive any duty

Every light in the range shares the same construction logic: a sealed IP67–IP69K housing that shrugs off pressure washing, solid-state LEDs with no filament to fracture, potted drivers that absorb vibration and alternator voltage spikes, and EMC suppression to CISPR 25. Vibration, immersion and thermal-shock testing run in our own lab before a model is released — that is why one range can serve farm, site and road machines without variant engineering.

OEM and wholesale ordering

We manufacture for OEM brands and aftermarket distributors worldwide. Standard MOQ is 60 pieces per model with production lead times of 15–25 working days, and we send 1–5 samples first so you can test beam and fitment on your own machines before committing. Private-label branding, custom connectors and cable lengths are available, and certification documentation for your target market is available on request. Warranty terms are listed on each product page. Send us your machine list and target market and our engineers will propose a complete work light programme.

Beyond the catalogue, we also develop lights from scratch to customer requirements — from design and 3D-printed prototypes to production tooling, with exclusive supply protection. Learn more about our custom LED light development service.

Frequently Asked Questions

What wattages suit different types of equipment?

Size the light to the position, not the machine. Cab pillars, steps and compartments take the compact class (10–27 W); cab roofs, fenders and body sides take the standard class (30–60 W), which is where most of the 263 models sit; rear work areas and implements on larger machines take 61–120 W; only mining, quarry and marine machines that light a whole working area from one point need the 120–580 W heavy-duty class. Send us the machine and mounting positions and we will recommend a class for each.

How many lumens does a work light need?

For a single cab or fender position, 2,400–4,800 lm (the 30–60 W class) gives even, glare-free light over the working area beside the machine; a compact 720–2,160 lm lamp is enough for a step or compartment; a rear scene position on a large machine takes 4,800–9,600 lm. Compare effective lumens, not raw LED output, and remember that a wide flood at lower output usually lights a working area better than a bright spot.

What is the difference between raw and effective lumens?

Raw (or theoretical) lumens are what the LED chips emit inside the housing; effective lumens are what actually leaves the lens after optical and thermal losses, which is the figure that matters for the ground you are lighting. Our product pages list the output per model so buyers can compare like with like; our effective lumens glossary entry explains how the two are measured.

Are these compatible with both 12V and 24V systems?

Yes. The 9–32 V wide-voltage input runs on 12 V and 24 V vehicle systems without modification, and potted drivers ride through alternator spikes and starter dips.

Can we order under our own brand?

Yes. Private-label branding, custom housing colour and packaging are available for OEM and ODM orders. Standard MOQ is 60 pieces per model; tell us the models and packaging you want and we will confirm the programme.

Should distributors stock flood or spot beam work lights?

Stock flood beams first — they cover cab, fender and reverse positions, which is where most demand sits — then add spot or combination models for forward-reach jobs. Our beam patterns guide shows how each optic maps to a mounting position.

Which certifications ship with your LED work lights?

Certification documentation for your target market is available on request, and every model carries EMC suppression to CISPR 25 for radio-safe operation. Tell us the market when ordering; our vehicle lighting certifications guide explains which markets ask for which documents.

How quickly can we test samples before bulk ordering?

Samples ship in 1–5 days, so your team can check beam pattern and fitment on real machines before committing to the 60-piece MOQ. Bulk production then takes 15–25 working days. Request a quote to start with a sample order.
