A headlight has a different job from every other lamp on a tractor or loader: it has to put light on the road or the field ahead without blinding the driver coming the other way. That means a low beam with a cut-off, a high beam for open ground, and a housing that fits the machine. This range covers the 35 LED headlights we build for tractors, skid steers and compact loaders, forklifts and plow trucks, in three families: universal high/low beam headlights, direct-fit replacements for the original halogen units on John Deere, Case IH, New Holland, Kubota, Massey Ferguson and Bobcat machines, and HELLA-compatible 90mm modules. All of them run on 9–32V DC, so one part number covers 12V and 24V fleets.
Choose by how the headlight is fitted
Fitment decides the rest of the specification, so start there.
- Universal bracket-mount headlights: for machines with a flat mounting face or an existing bracket. The 6×4 in high/low headlight with DRL is the largest, at 99W and 8,000 lumens; the 69W version suits smaller tractors, and the 6 in square 96W, 5.6 in round and 4.7 in round cover round and square hood openings.
- Direct-fit OEM replacements: the LED unit bolts into the original housing and plugs into the original connector, so a dealer or workshop swaps it in minutes with no wiring change. These carry the OEM part number they replace, from John Deere skid steer flush-mount to Case IH Magnum corner headlights and New Holland T8010–T8030 assemblies.
- HELLA-compatible 90mm modules: many European-built tractors and loaders use 90mm bi-halogen modules. Our 90mm LED high/low module and 90mm low-beam module use the same dimensions, mounting and AMP connector, so the halogen module comes out and the LED module goes in.
Choose by beam function
Name the functions the machine needs before you compare wattage. Five combinations cover the range.
- Low beam only: a 15W 90mm module for cab-mounted road lights on machines that keep a separate high beam.
- High/low beam: the core of the range, from 50W to 99W, with a low-beam cut-off for the road and a high beam for the field. All round, square and 6×4 in universal units are high/low.
- High/low with DRL: a 9W or 12W daytime running light in the same housing, for tractors that travel on public roads by day. The 6×4 in units with DRL and the New Holland tractor headlight carry it.
- Combination headlights: low beam, high beam, turn signal and position light in one housing where the machine has no separate indicator lamp. The 4.5 in 92W combination headlight for forklifts and yard trucks and the TL7101 combination driving headlight for tractors and trucks are the two formats.
- Heated headlights: for plow trucks and winter fleets, a 15W heating element bonded to the lens keeps the optic clear whenever the lamp is on. See the heated combination plow headlight and our note on why LED headlights ice up.
Direct-fit headlights by tractor and loader brand
Each direct-fit unit is listed under the OEM part number it replaces, so a parts counter can match it from the original number.
- John Deere: skid steer flush-mount headlight AT352538 and the bottom-mount cab and industrial headlight shared with Case IH and MacDon; the full John Deere equipment lights range lists 64 fitments.
- Case IH: Magnum right-hand corner headlight TL7140R replacing 91972C2, 100W with swivel mount.
- New Holland and Ford: T8010, T8020 and T8030 headlight assemblies replacing 87529728, with two flood lights and a high/low driving light in the original housing; Case and New Holland skid steer headlights for the heavy-duty light housing.
- Kubota: M5040 to M9540 left and right headlights replacing 3C081-75722 and 3C081-75713; SVL series skid steer headlight replacing V0511; SSV series left and right industrial headlights.
- Massey Ferguson: round headlight 3788221M91 for the 5400, 6400 and 7400 series, in 50W and 60W.
- Bobcat: M-Series left and right headlights replacing 7251340 and 7251341, and the triangle skid steer headlight for 6718042 to 7259524; more in Bobcat replacement lights and LED skid steer lights.
What the specification should say
A headlight RFQ that names these six items gets a correct quotation the first time.
- Functions: low, high, DRL, turn, position, heated. A "high/low" unit and a "combination" unit are different products.
- Beam pattern: low beam with cut-off for road use, symmetric flood for field-only machines. See beam patterns.
- Output: ask for effective lumens measured at the lens, not LED chip lumens. Our 6×4 in 99W unit delivers 8,000 lumens; a 40W direct-fit skid steer headlight delivers 3,200 to 3,600.
- Fitment: OEM part number for direct-fit, or mounting face and bracket type for universal; connector type, H4 or AMP, if the harness stays.
- Electrical: 9–32V DC for mixed 12V and 24V fleets; current draw at 12V per unit matters on older harnesses, so it is on every product page.
- Market: where the machine is registered. Road-lighting documentation for your market is available on request with the quotation.
What we test before a headlight ships
A headlight is checked in the photometric darkroom for the shape of its beam, not only its output: the low-beam cut-off is what stops a tractor dazzling oncoming traffic, and it is measured on every design before release. The housing then goes through vibration on the profile of the machine it is meant for, thermal shock between -40°C and 65°C, and IP67 or IP69K sealing depending on the model. Because the LED driver is a switching load, radiated emissions are measured in our EMC chamber to CISPR 25 so the headlight does not interfere with the radio or the machine's electronics.
OEM development and wholesale
We supply LED headlights in wholesale volumes to tractor and loader dealers, parts distributors and OEM brands. Standard MOQ is 60 pieces per model with 15–25 working day lead times; order 1–5 samples first and fit them to the machine before committing. Private-label branding, custom brackets, connectors and cable lengths, and documentation for your market are available on request. Send the OEM part number or a photo of the original lamp with the machine model and we will confirm the direct-fit unit or quote a universal one.
Beyond the catalogue, we also develop lights from scratch to customer requirements — from design and 3D-printed prototypes to production tooling, with exclusive supply protection. Learn more about our custom LED light development service.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are these LED headlights road-legal on a tractor?
The headlights in this range are built with a low-beam cut-off so they can be used on the road, and road-lighting documentation for your market is available on request with a quotation. Whether a particular tractor or loader may travel on public roads, and with which lamps, is set by the rules of the state or country where it is registered, so confirm the market with us when you order.
Will an LED headlight fit the original halogen housing?
The direct-fit units do: they use the original mounting points and connector and are listed under the OEM part number they replace, so no wiring change is needed. The HELLA-compatible 90mm modules use the same dimensions and AMP connector as the halogen module. Universal headlights come with brackets and are fitted to a flat face or an existing bracket.
What is the difference between a headlight and a driving light?
A headlight has a low beam with a cut-off for the road and a high beam for open ground. A driving light is an auxiliary long-range spot that adds distance to the high beam and is switched off when traffic approaches. Machines that travel on the road need headlights first; our LED driving lights are the add-on for rural and forestry work.
Can one headlight run on 12V and 24V tractors?
Yes. Every headlight here accepts 9–32V DC, so the same part number is fitted to 12V and 24V machines without a converter. Current draw at 12V is listed on each product page for harness sizing.
Can you make a headlight for a tractor model you do not list?
Yes. Send the OEM part number or a photo of the original lamp with the machine model and we will confirm a direct-fit unit or develop one. Standard MOQ is 60 pieces per model with 15–25 working day lead times; samples of 1–5 units ship first for a fitting trial.
What is the MOQ and lead time?
Standard MOQ is 60 pcs per model. Lead time is 15–25 working days after deposit. Sample orders of 1–5 units are available for evaluation purposes at full unit price plus courier cost.
