Start from the badge, then the number on the lamp
New Holland tractors carry three generations of badging and the housings changed with them. A Ford-New Holland 40 Series rear lamp does not share a mount with a T7 cab light, and a 70 Genesis wraparound hood light is handed. Working from the machine series and the number stamped on the old lamp is faster and more reliable than matching by photograph.
Where a New Holland OE number is published we list it against the part — for example 9841566 on the amber agriculture lamp and 87529728 on the T8010–T8030 headlights. If your number is not in the table below, send it to us and we will confirm the equivalent against the series and lamp position.

Why so many lamps also list Case IH and Ford
CNH built common housings across its brands, so a large share of this range is specified against more than one make. The Magnum and T8 share an oval cab and fender housing; CX-Steiger and T8-TG share a fender lamp; CS-Puma and T6000-TS-A share an upper cab light. Ford-badged tractors of the 40, 70 Genesis and TS generations use the same housings as their New Holland successors.
This is a fitment fact, not a compromise: the product title lists every make the lamp is sold against, and the mounting and connector are identical across those machines.
What has to match before "direct fit" is true
Mounting pattern and handing. Wraparound hood lights and the T8010–T8030 headlights are handed; left and right are separate part numbers and will not swap sides.
Connector. The original plug is retained, so no splicing is required. Confirm the plug type on the product page if your machine has been rewired.
Voltage range. Every lamp in this range accepts 9–32V DC, so 12V and 24V machines take the same part number without a converter.
Beam function. Hood and headlight positions need a defined high/low beam for road travel. Cab, handrail and fender positions take a flood beam over the implement. Fitting a flood lamp in a headlight position is legal in the field and not on the road.
Where this range stops
Being explicit about the gaps is more useful than filling them with a near-enough part. We do not currently list the newest T7 HD and T8 Genesis rear extremity positions, combine-specific sub-positions on the CR and CX ranges, or interior cab lighting. Ask and we will tell you whether a housing exists rather than sell you an adapter.
